A furnace that won't ignite, short-cycles, or keeps tripping its limit switch needs more than a reset in Forest Grove winters. A CO check happens on every call, standard, not an upsell.
A short list of components causes most Furnace Repair calls: ignitor, flame sensor, gas valve, heat exchanger. Each gets tested with a multimeter and combustion analyzer, not replaced on a hunch, not parts-cannon guessing.
What doesn't change from visit to visit.
A combustion analyzer reading for dangerous CO levels is part of every visit, not optional.
We bump no-heat calls ahead of routine visits when it's cold.
A fixed price is set before repairs start.
Our techs are trained equally on gas furnaces and electric heat strips, no exceptions.
The most common furnace failure points.
These two parts are behind most no-heat visits, usually a same-visit fix.
We test actual response and pressure output rather than replacing an expensive part on a hunch before we recommend replacing it.
We inspect carefully with proper equipment rather than assuming based on age.
Short-cycling or mid-cycle shutdowns often trace to the limit switch or a struggling blower before condemning the control board.
We still service older standing-pilot systems that newer ignition doesn't have.
Zero response from the furnace can mean a wiring fault, not a furnace failure to avoid overcharging for parts you don't need.
What happens from your call to heat restored.
Describe the symptom and we route the nearest tech and we'll get someone moving.
A stocked truck arrives ready to diagnose and often repair same visit.
Combustion analysis happens before any repair is quoted, then a flat-rate quote.
Most repairs finish same visit, with a final CO check before we leave, backed by warranty.
Feedback from completed furnace repairs.
Pilot light kept going out on our older furnace every few days. Tech identified a failing thermocouple that two other companies had overlooked.

Furnace made a loud bang on startup that scared the whole family. Turned out to be a delayed ignition issue from a dirty burner, cleaned and resolved same visit.
— F. Ibekwe, homeowner
Called about a gas smell near the furnace closet and they had someone here within the hour to confirm it was safe before doing any repair work.
— Q. Whitmore, homeowner
Landlord here with an older building, they've kept three separate furnace units running through two winters without a single emergency callout.

Clicking without ignition often points to the ignitor, but we confirm with a resistance test before quoting.
Yes — it can let combustion gases into breathing air, we won't run a confirmed-cracked unit, taken seriously.
Yes, included at no extra charge, no upcharge.
